Rest assured, I have about twenty tabs worth of entries to reply to, I haven't dropped off the face of the earth! And don't plan to!

However, I have a question for mix-makers on my f-list!

Give me tips? Where do you upload things? How many tracks is typical?

i usually make my mixes about ten tracks but most people make more. here's my mix tag, for example (http://latenightcuppa.livejournal.com/tag/music%3A%20mix%20it%20up%20yo). i think it's a matter of personal preference. as for uploading, i've been using filepost and that's been working fine for me.

8Tracks (http://www.8tracks.com) is awesome, but there's always the option to upload it to Filesharing websites but streaming is a problem there. Depending on the requirements and stuff, I'd like to have around 10 tracks, but for longer fics it'll depend as well. I try to time my mix to the fic length as well.

I don't make mixes myself but I upload with sendspace and I think anywhere from 8-20 tracks is okay.
