The Other Guy - Bruce doesn’t know this, but he can hypothesize - doesn’t really have a concept of ‘tomorrow’. If he stays the night they end up running, whereas if Bruce is in bed alone, his nights are spent tallying the days since the last incident. ‘Tomorrow’ becomes a very important factor. Unlike the Other Guy, Bruce is acutely aware of the hours that clench together before dawn, when the whole night is forced into a piping bag and then squeezed out as the next day. It’s the changing of the guard. It’s another day since the last incident.
